Rapid prototyping based on embedded solutions plays a crucial role in the modern development process of electronic systems. It allows engineers to quickly transform their theoretical designs into tangible prototypes, accelerating the iterative process of design, testing, and refinement. This approach significantly reduces the time-to-market, a critical factor in today’s fast-paced technology landscape. Furthermore, it enables real-time performance analysis and debugging, leading to robust and efficient systems. Embedded solutions, with their compact size and high performance, are particularly suited for this purpose, making rapid prototyping an indispensable tool in electronics design and development.

In this seminar, we will talk about how to design and control a DC DC converter and how to automatically generate code for embedded solutions that control power converters.

First, The control design of a DC-DC converter is of paramount importance in power electronics. It forms the backbone of efficient energy conversion and regulation in a myriad of applications, from renewable energy systems to electric vehicles. Small signal modeling provides critical insights into the converter’s dynamic behavior, enabling the design of robust and stable control systems. The implementation phase, particularly with PIL (Process In the Loop) testing, ensures that the control algorithms perform as expected in real-world scenarios. Thus, this process is crucial for the development of reliable and high-performance power electronic systems.

As for automatic code generation for embedded solutions dedicated to the control of power converters, it is a game-changer in the field of power electronics. It streamlines the development process by translating high-level control algorithms directly into machine-readable code, eliminating the need for manual coding. This not only accelerates the development cycle but also reduces the risk of human errors. Moreover, it allows for easy implementation of complex control strategies, enhancing the performance and efficiency of power converters.
